Founded in 2016 by the food and beverage company Nongshim, Nongshim Redforce is a South Korean esport team dedicated to participating in League of Legends tournaments. Most of the trajectory that this team (initially known as Team Dynamics) has accumulated has been within the Challengers Korea (CK) tournament, specifically in the second division of League of Legends Professional in South Korea. Over time Team Dynamics enhanced its status by achieving victory in League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), South Korea’s premier league for this video game in 2020.
Team Dynamics would later go on to become one of the 10 permanent franchise partners of the LCK. In June 2020, the team obtained the sponsorship of the Nongshim company after the end of the LCK season. In December of the same year, Team Dynamics changed its name to NS Redforce. Recently, the team unveiled the new roster of players with which it will face the next LCK season. In that sense, there have been several teams that have been moving their chips in an attempt to achieve the perfect lineup of players with which to obtain the necessary victories to win the upcoming LCK tournaments.
In the case of NS Redforce, this team became one of the surprises during the recent season even though they only got the sixth place, being only one set away from qualifying to the Worlds in the summer, being Hanwha Life the team responsible for truncating that possibility. This would explain the number of changes made by the team who seems to be determined to get a lineup that guarantees better results in the new season. In that sense, some departures from this team have been motivated by necessity, as in the case of Peanut, Kellin and Deokdam, giving way to the arrival of other players with enough potential and talent to improve what has been achieved so far.
Among the new additions are Effort and Ghost who will occupy the botlane position and will show the best they have to offer as part of NS Redforce. Meanwhile, in the midlaner position will be Bdd, former member of Gen.G, who showed an excellent performance in the last Worlds with this team. Accompanying these players are Dread, who will be assigned to cover the jungle on the map, and Canna in the toplaner position. In the end, the NS Redforce lineup would look as follows:
- Kim Chang-dong “Canna“
- Lee Jin-hyeok “Dread“
- Gwak Bo-seong “Bdd“
- Jang Yong-jun “Ghost“
- Lee Sang-ho “Effort“
On the other hand, it seems that NS Redforce is not only adding new players to its roster, but also new merchandise to its store with the launch of the NS Redforce x Le Coq Sportif 2022 uniform long sleeve jersey. his model will be worn by the members of this team during the tournaments that will take place next summer season, and can also be purchased by fans and add to the excitement of supporting this team wearing this attractive design.
