Counter Logic Gaming is a team with a long history in the esports world, having been founded in April 2010 by George “HotshotGG” Georgallidis and Alexander “Vodoo” Beutel. Their first foray into esports was in League of Legends, which served as a starting point for their expansion into other games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Super Smash Bros., Smite, H1Z1 and Fortnite.
It is worth mentioning that within League of Legends CLG continues to be the team with the greatest longevity, highlighting its participation in all splits of the League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS) held in North America since 2013. Also, CLG was one of the first esports organizations in North America to establish a gaming house to form multiple teams. Its current headquarters has enough space to permanently house all its divisions created in the different games where it participates along with the management staff.
A few weeks ago the team revealed what will be the new squad that will be part of the CLG Academy for the 2022 season after having finalized the rosters of the same, as well as those of the Counter Logic Gaming LCS. In that regard, Brandon “Juves” Defina has been named as the new CLG Academy head coach along with Brandon “Mash” Phan who will serve as an assistant coach for the Academy squad. And while the new coaches are getting used to managing the teams to which they have been assigned, CLG has taken the initiative to bring its fans a new apparel collection in tune with the holiday season. One of the garments whose use remains in force year after year is the Christmas sweater. With this in mind, Counter Logic Gaming has brought its own Christmas sweater model for all its fans. It is a model made of cotton and polyester material that presents a design in which elements can be seen on the front that evoke the spirit of the Christmas festivities, being the team logo the most prominent among all.
