By 2017 MAD Lions took its first steps as a Spanish esport organization that eventually managed to earn a place within the industry by being one of the most competitive within League of Legends and Counter Strike: Global Offensive in which they have formed teams. Their first participation in tournaments was in the Spanish edition of League of Legends which would be followed by the Superliga Orange in Spain held in the 2018 season. Thanks to the performance shown in this scenario MAD Lions was gaining popularity, which would be increasing by qualifying for the European Master tournament held in the summer of 2018 in which he won the trophy as undisputed winner.
In April 2021 the organization won its first LEC title in the spring playoff final after coming from behind against the Rogue team, thus becoming the fourth club in history to reach this milestone. A few hours ago it was announced that Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer, the former Fnatic center laner will try to repeat his participation in the LEC, but this time as a member of MAD Lions, thus ending his absence from the stage during the Spring Split. After becoming LEC champion in 2021, the performance of MAD Lions after that has not been the best in the Spring Split where the departure of player Marek “Humanoid” Brázda represented a hard blow for the Spanish team, which completely nullified their chances of reaching the playoffs.
This made MAD Lions start looking for a player to fill the vacancy, being Nisqy the right candidate. In that sense, the center laner would take the place of Steven “Reeker” Chen who became part of MAD Lions after the departure of Humanoid, but unfortunately could not meet the expectations of the organization.
