HyperX, one of the most reputable brands in the gaming peripherals and accessories sector, has teamed up with Champion, an American manufacturer specializing in sportswear, the reason? To enter the “fashion for gamers” market once again. And it does so with the launch of the HyperX x Champion USA: Glow Limited Collection, a unisex collection made up of three garments: T-shirt, hoodie and a jogger. Disclaimer: NO, they don’t have RGB (which I wish). LOOK at how they look!
Glow Limited Collection, the third collection from HyperX
In general terms, the collection that emerges from the collaboration between HyperX & Champion is firmly committed to simplicity in design: we are talking about black pieces that look exquisite with those details that glow in the dark. The GITD (Glow in the Dark) graphics achieve a “rainbow” effect in dark areas, giving that “magical” touch to the garments.
HyperX x Champion USA T-shirt
The T-shirt, synonymous with comfort for gamers, focuses precisely on this detail: it is made of 100% cotton. In fact, the collar is well stitched and even label-free, in order to avoid discomfort while playing. The manufacturer itself claims that it “keeps you comfortable during long gaming sessions”. In terms of design, the T-shirt exhibits an embroidered label on the left chest area, showing the logos of both companies (HyperX / Champion). And it reads:
“It takes a little more to make a champion.
We’re all gamers”.
While on the left sleeve is stamped the Champion logo (in color), the right sleeve the series to which the shirt corresponds: HyperX Champion, Season 3 2021. (Each of the details is screen-printed with a “special ink” that allows for that shiny effect). The shirt is available in sizes S, M, L, XL and 2XL. And thanks to the “unisex” fit, it molds perfectly to the body.
Glow limited collection hoodie
In the case of the hoodie, the brands also focus on the player’s comfort, offering a warm garment without sacrificing lightness. The hoodie is made of 50% cotton and 50% polyester. In fact, the manufacturer is proud to mention that it is made with “up to 10% recycled fibers”. The design doesn’t feature much new from the T-shirt. They use the same label showing the logo of both brands, but this time on the chest area in a larger size.
The Champion logo has been placed almost on the right cuff, while the collaboration is shown on the left. Speaking of the cuffs, these have been made with an elastic to facilitate the fit to the wrist. The same elastic has been used to make the lower part of the hoodie fit the body. As a hoodie, it features the characteristic kanga pocket to keep your hands warm. Available in sizes S, M, L, XL and 2XL.
HyperX x Champion joggers
The latest item resulting from this HyperX x Champion USA collaboration, is a jogger for women or men. The jogger repeats the embroidery that displays the logo of both brands plus the slogan “We’re all gamers”, on the right thigh area this time. While the Champion logo is placed near the left pocket.
In fact, the manufacturer has ensured that the side pockets are quite spacious. And that the waistband has elastic to ensure that it keeps the jogger in place. In another detail, the ankles are ribbed to give that visual effect that is so fashionable today. The jogger is made of two materials: 50% cotton and 50% polyester. It is available in the same sizes.
Availability of the HyperX Glow Limited Collection?
The collection featuring Glow-in-the-Dark graphics is on sale at the Champion store. And run if you want it: it’s available on a limited basis (if they run out, you won’t be able to buy it again). As of the writing of this article it is still available.
