Founded in 2003 in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by businessman Paulo Velloso, MIBR is one of the most experienced esports organizations in South America, which over time has been forming teams and training them to compete in tournaments of games such as Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. MIBR became part of the G7 teams. By 2018 MIBR had been acquired by the Immortals organization.
Then, in June of that same year, all members of the original team were replaced by those belonging to the Luminosity Gaming/SK Gaming roster, which had won the MLG Columbus Major 2016, as well as ESL One Cologne 2016. Subsequently, in 2019, the Immortals lineup in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege went on to become the MIBR lineup in order to participate in the Six Major Raleigh 2019.
MIBR recently released through its social networks the names of the players who will be part of the VALORANT roster.
