The year 2017 saw an unprecedented event in the history of this organization by including Dallas Cowboys owner and investor John Goff as partners to share ownership of the team. In mid-November of this year Complexity confirmed its participation in the first Rocket League Major for the 2020-2021 season to be held in Sweden. This, after winning against Spacestation Gaming in a best-of-seven playoff series. A result that was not easy to obtain for Complexity as they found themselves in a dangerous position with a 2-3 score, which they reversed by taking the series to the seventh game in which they were 3-1, giving them a final score of 4-3 that guaranteed them the last available place in the region.
