SK Gaming (Schroet Kommando) is an esport organization founded in 1997, making it one of the longest running in the industry, with companies based in the cities of Cologne and Berlin (Germany). The name came about as a result of the repetitive pronunciation of the word Schrot, meaning shrapnel, which one of the members of the original line-up used to say. This eventually led to the word being adopted as the team’s name, albeit with a variant. This is how Shroet Kommando was born, later making its transition to SK Gaming.
Over time SK Gaming has formed lineups for competitions in games such as Rocket League, Clash Royale, FIFA, League of Legends and Brawl Stars. The result of this has been more than 60 titles obtained in prestigious championships within the esport scene, in which the participation of the Swedish Counter Strike team, the FIFA twins, the talented Rapha from Quake, the Warcraft III division and the Brazilian Global Offensive team currently in force stand out. A few weeks ago, SK gaming announced the signing of the World of Warcraft Pieces guild to participate in the Race to World First (RWF) event.
